From brief to track
Brief
Before anything gets drawn, we need to know what we're working with: your references, your colours, the direction the car should go. You tell us what works and what doesn't, and we narrow it down together. Sometimes there's no brief at all and we're trusted to decide, which often gives the strongest result
Concept
The only way to find an idea is to try it, so we sketch: different shapes, different colour splits, different looks for the same car, until one of them starts to hold. You go through the drafts, tell us which one is working and we take that direction further.
Design
Once the direction is settled the experimenting is done. We resolve the shapes across the whole body, check the proportions from every angle and push every detail as far as it goes, until the sketch becomes the design you wanted.
Refine
The design is finished at this point, so what's left is sticker placement, alternative colour palettes and anything else that adjusts the design without replacing it. We go through it with you, make the corrections you want and this is the round where you sign off on the final result.
Deliver
At this stage everything goes over to you: print files, wrap instructions, renders and any documentation the job needs. We can print it through our partners and ship it to you, or work directly with your print shop if you already have one.
